    How it works

    • Zypto offers four distinct card tiers: Premium Physical, Classic Physical, Reloadable Virtual, and Single-Load Virtual. The Premium card includes Visa Signature benefits like lounge access and concierge services, along with 3D Secure and mobile wallet support. The Classic card lacks 3D Secure and mobile wallet integration. The ecosystem also includes a dApp browser, bill pay services, and a gift card marketplace.

    Custody & risk

    • If the issuer disappears
If the provider or its banking partners fail, any fiat funds loaded onto the card could be lost. Unconverted cryptocurrency held in the user's non-custodial wallet would remain secure and accessible.
    • Regulatory risk
      Former Polish VASP license terminated
    • Counterparty risk
Loaded card funds are custodial and at risk if provider fails
    • Market risk
Third-party dependencies for support and liquidity

Users maintain self-custody of their crypto assets in the non-custodial Zypto wallet. When a user initiates a card top-up, the crypto is converted to fiat and transferred to the card issuer, at which point the funds become custodial. The user controls the private keys for their crypto but not for the fiat balance held on the card.
